PASTOR TUNDE BAKARE AT IT AGAIN-REJECTS A ROLL ROYCE GIFT

The founder of Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare has declared that he earnestly yearns for a better Nigeria where good governance, equal distribution of the nation’s resources amongst others for all citizens.

According to our source  ,The Pastor  made this remarks while ministering during the inauguration and commissioning of Grace and Glory Chapel in Ikeja, Lagos, while giving reasons why he rejected a car gift for his 60th birthday.

Pastor Bakare said he was not interested in becoming a local champion in a city of the blind, recalling that, some persons brought him a 2015 model of Rolls Royce during his 60th birthday which, he said, he out rightly rejected, adding that he was not in need of such exotic car while majority of Nigerians are wallowing in poverty.

Bakare said: “I don’t want to be a local champion in a city of the blind. I am not in need of a 2015 model of Rolls-Royce which was presented to me as a gift.

“I was sitting at home one day and they brought in a brand new 2015 Rolls-Royce into my house. My 60th birthday was coming. I looked at it, kai! This is awkward. When you open your car, your door goes this way, its own door goes that way. It clears the way so that there is nothing blocking your way.

“I saw a button. They said: it is an umbrella sir. It is on every door in case it is raining, you just push it and the umbrella comes out. I said: Na wa o. Then I said: Oya, leave this place.

“Where is the road that I will ride it upon?

My heart is not in things like this. I asked my son to take a photograph of the brand new car as a proof,” the controversial pastor noted.

Bakare also averred that poverty has made most Nigerians to believe that anybody without a jet has not arrived, adding that majority of those who bought jets can no longer maintain such jets and are busy leasing them out.

Tunde Bakare- the power blocs are backing Buhari

Source = punchng.com

The Serving Overseer of the Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare, has said a majority of those that constitute the power blocs in the country are in support of All Progressives Congress pres‎idential candidate, Muhammad Buhari.
from Google image

He said this while speaking on the theme, ‘Nigeria beyond 2015′, at a public lecture organised by Angola Hall of Obafemi Awolowo University, Osun State, on Wednesday.

According to him, power blocs in any country influence and determine winners during elections.

The Nigerian power blocs, he said, were peoples vote, council of state, clerics, governors, traditional rulers, top entrepreneurs and retired generals.

The cleric said, “Peoples vote determines electoral victory anywhere in the world, the entrenched power blocs determine electoral victory more than anything. There are six or seven political blocs entrenched in Nigeria. The incumbent president and former head of states – council of state. From the council of states, we have two candidates – one former head of state and one incumbent president. There are six others that I want you to consider on whose side they are.

“Traditional rulers, retired generals, who have tasted power, who can you say clearly is the person they are supporting? The governors and let us consider the corporate boys, who are the men of commerce. Where is Aliko Dangote, Otedola,Tony Elumelu and others?

“Look at those who control the large constituents of people on Sunday. Tell me who is Pastor Adeboye, Oyedepo, Oritsejafor backing? Those who influence voting are doing so behind the scene and when the results come, we say ‘they have cheated us’.

“Don’t be deceived by what they say in the paper, a lot happens behind the scene. I agree with you, I have said earlier that my loyalty lies with Buhari and maybe because I am an insider, I know better than you.”

If Buhari emerges victorious, the pastor noted that 100 days would be too much to hand over power to the APC candidate.

He said, “If we don’t run it (Nigeria) properly, we will be running into a major storm that can consume us. The February 2015 election further provides the incubator for the hatching of the dreaded scenarios.

“Nigeria has a way of throwing up anti-climax. If Buhari wins, what will happen between March and May. It is too long a time.”

Adams Oshiomho-PDP are Stealling N100 From Every Litre Of Kerosene.......

source = http://www.aitonline.tv/

The Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, on Thursday accused the Peoples Democratic Party-led Federal Government of duping Nigerians by selling kerosene N150 per litre instead of N50.

Oshiomhole, who said this while receiving defectors from the PDP to the All Progressives Congress in Benin, the Edo State capital, also said that Nigerians had been suffering since the PDP assumed power 16 years ago.

This, he said, was because of the PDP’s dedication “to preserve the privileges of the few.”

Oshiomhole said the Federal Government had been doing this by not allowing the masses to enjoy the benefits of the natural resources bestowed on the country by God through shady subsidy deals on petroleum products.

The governor said, “The man who has a shop must close by 6 pm. If he operates beyond 6pm, he must put on a generator, and buy petrol or diesel. For 16 years, the PDP can’t give us light. But if they leave us in peace even in the dark, it will be bad enough but for them, that is not bad enough.”

“From Otuoke to Benin City, to Lagos, to Ekpoma, to Iyahmo, to Sokoto, kerosene is now between N150 and N160 per litre. For every N150 you spend in buying a litre of kerosene, the PDP steals N100 because in the books of the NNPC, they have it on records that kerosene is N50 per litre.”

Oshiomhole also commended the quality of the defectors, who he described as knowledgeable.

He said, “Today is not just the fact of the huge number in this hall but it is also about the quality of the brains that have now join us; and in a world that is knowledge-driven, it is only the party that can parade the best brains that can drive the sustainable change that Nigeria is currently battling with in order to bail our country from its present political quagmire.”

The governor also likened the ruling party to “an impotent man.”

SHEHU SHAGARI SLAMS BUHARI-you truncated democracy ,wake up from your delusion

SHEHU SHAGARI TO APC BUHARI

In the wake of so many controversy surrounding  the APC Presidential Candidate Muhammed Buhari, the Formal President Of Nigeria Shehu Shagari, whose tenure was terminated by the coup of Muhammed Buhari,Shehu Shagari has these words for Gen muhammed Buhari here him......

My brother, you have contested the Presidential elections 3 times in
this country and in all these times, you have never asked me or my
people at Shagari village to support your bid. It is very obvious why
you can't do that. You don't have the courage after what you did to
me. You truncated democracy with a dastardly coup and took away
power from me.You humiliated me and made me to suffer, and you
took away my opportunity to RULE Nigeria. You said you do not
want democracy in Nigeria.. The same democracy you truncated,
you are fighting hard to get with desperation and diabolical power.
You have entered into unholy alliance with some known elements of
disunity in the south but let me warn you. You will suffer hard in the
hands of Tinubu and his political merchants who will use and dump
you as they did to Nuhu. In 2011, you cried publicly when you lost
election, and you made provocative and inciting statements that
plunged this country into untoward unrest. You provoked our hot-
blooded youths with war cries which erupted into post election
violence, that brought Boko Haram into existence, over 500 innocent
Nigerians died instantly, most of them youth corpers deployed from
one of the unifying agencies of this country. Personally,I do not have
a problem with your ambition. It is your arrogance that bothers me. If
you cannot summon the courage to ask me and my family to vote
for you because you know we would not,why do you think Nigerians
would look kindly on your past record of destroying a progressing
democratic institutions painfully put in place by some respected
fathers of this nations like Awolowo and Azikiwe. No my brother. It is
time to wake up from your delusion and do the needful if you still
have some conscience. I am not writing this to you with vengeance
intention. I am a practicing Muslim and we leave matters of
vengeance to Allah. I write to you as a Nigerian, your brother and a
statesman who is deeply concerned.Quit the presidential race now
and save this country from the dangling sword of Damocles being
menacingly wield by the crooks who surround you. This elections is
not about you or President Goodluck Jonathan. It is about the unity
of Nigeria which can only be assured by being fair. By this I
mean, being fair to the people of Niger Delta. We can only do this by
either re-electing Goodluck or substitute him with any of his kinsmen
from the South-south as that can only count fair for a people who are
entitled to 8 years in the office of the President. For the elders
council in the north,we have come to the conclusion to work towards
realizing that fairness. 4 years more is not eternity. It is not too
much of a concession for us to make to move Nigeria forward as one
indivisible and united country under one God. May Allah open your
mind to see reason.God bless Nigeria~~ Alhaji Shehu Shagari ( GCFR)
