Woman Told She Has Two Vaginas Gives Birth To Miracle Twins

A woman who was told she might not be able to have children because she was born with two vaginas has given birth to miracle twins.
Lauren Cotter, 34, was diagnosed with uterus didelphys when she was just 16 after suffering from agonising menstrual cramps as a teenager.
Doctors warned Lauren the condition – which sees women born with two uteruses, two cervixes and, in her case, two vaginas – may impact her ability to carry and deliver a child, due to the reduced size of her wombs and cervixes.
However, despite the odds stacked against her, the 34-year-old fell pregnant with her first child – five-year-old Amelie – at the age of 28, and two years later fell pregnant with Harvey, three.
Lauren then fell pregnant again, this time with ‘miracle’ twins Maya and Evie, who were conceived while she was fitted with the contraceptive implant. All three of her girls were carried in her right womb while Harvey was in her left.
The mum-of-four insists her condition has never affected her sex life with her husband, 33-year-old policeman Ben, and says she was ‘open and honest’ with him about the possibility of her not being able to have children from the beginning.
Luckily, she explained, Ben ‘wasn’t bothered,’ and after talking it through they both agreed there was more than one way to have a baby if they wanted it badly enough.Woman with 2 vaginas has twins

The couple found it ‘easy’ to fall pregnant though, and Lauren took a positive pregnancy test in October 2013 a year into their marriage, after just one month of trying.
The mother explained:
We decided to give it a go, and just see what happened. We knew it might be a bumpy road and tried not to get our hopes up too much. Just a month after we started trying, I bought a stack of pregnancy tests and started taking them weekly.
Then one morning, I had a test to hand, and there on the stick was a very, very, faint blue line. I couldn’t be sure, so I took a test each morning that week, and each day the line got darker and darker until I was sure – we were pregnant.
Although she fell pregnant quickly, Lauren had been warned by doctors that being able to safely carry a baby to full term might not be possible, given that her wombs were half the average size. However, the pregnancy went smoothly and baby Amelie was delivered by C-section in 2014.
Lauren and Ben then decided to start trying for baby number two 18 months later, and she once again fell pregnant within a couple of months. Following another problem-free pregnancy, which saw the fetus grow in the left womb this time, the couple welcomed Harvey to their family.Woman with 2 vaginas has twins

It was only when she fell pregnant for a third time – this time while fitted with the contraceptive implant, which is more than 99 per cent effective – that doctors decided they needed to keep a close eye on Lauren for the sake of her health and the twins she was carrying.
Concerned about how long the mum would be able to carry twins due to her condition, doctors put her on strict bed rest from 19 weeks onward.
She explained:
My doctor was very honest and said he couldn’t know how the pregnancy was going to play out.
Little Maya and Evie were delivered via caesarean section in June last year, but Evie was rushed to intensive care just hours after their arrival after she began struggling with her breathing.
The newborn underwent keyhole surgery at just five days old because she was born with her intestines in the chest cavity, with her parents warned she had just a 50 per cent chance of survival. However, she miraculously recovered and was ready to come home after just three weeks.Newborn in hospital

Now 15 months old, the twins are happy and healthy – although Lauren revealed she requested that her fallopian tubes be removed during her final C-section to prevent her from falling pregnant for a fourth time. ‘Ben and I are one super fertile couple, and now we’re happy with things just as they are,’ she added.
Uterus didelphys affects around one in 3,000 women and occurs when the uterus fails to fuse properly when the fetus is developing in the womb. A few months after her diagnosis, Lauren had laser surgery to remove the dividing wall between her two vaginas to enable her to enjoy a normal sex life.
One year later, she met Ben at the age of 17 and they haven’t looked back since, with Lauren saying intimacy has never been a problem for the pair.
Congratulations to the happy couple!

A self-confessed ‘diehard’ tanner who used tanning beds up to six times a week was left with a gaping hole in her nose after developing skin cancer.
When Rebekah Rupp from Morrison, Oklahoma, was in her teens and twenties, she loved the confidence that being tanned gave her and used tanning beds anywhere up to six times a week to achieve a healthy glow, despite people warning her of the dangers.
When Rebekah Rupp from Morrison, Oklahoma, was in her teens and twenties, she loved the confidence that being tanned gave her and used tanning beds anywhere up to six times a week to achieve a healthy glow, despite people warning her of the dangers.
Now the 41-year-old admits she rarely took care of her face and just used wipes and pads to cleanse her skin. It wasn’t until five years ago when Rebekah started to work for a skin care company to earn some extra money that she discovered the importance of using an SPF.Tanning Addict Left With Hole In Nose After Developing Skin Cancer

In August 2018 Rebekah noticed a dark spot had appeared on her cheek, so she went to her dermatologist in December to get it checked out. It was then the dermatologist noticed a white spot on the tip of Rebekah’s nose which he removed immediately and sent off for testing.
She explained:
I had a dark spot appear on my cheek, so I made an appointment with my dermatologist to have it looked at.
I was a diehard tanning bed tanner. In my earlier years, I tanned at least five to six times a week. I was told by others it was bad for me, but until it happened to me – I never listened.
I loved the way tanning made me feel. It relaxed me, it made me feel pretty, and it gave me a glow that I loved.
The teacher was told that she had basal cell carcinoma skin cancer and she underwent Mohs surgery in June this year to remove the affected layers of skin.
Rebekah was left with a hole in her nose which doctors repaired with a flap of forehead skin, which attached a vein from the forehead to the nose. She wore the flap for four weeks before having her final reconstructive surgery in July.
She continued:
As soon as I went in for the dark spot, the dermatologist spotted a white looking mole on the tip of my nose. He asked me how long I had it, it had only been there for about two months or so, I thought it was just a pimple that wouldn’t go away.
He acted very concerned about the way it looked, and immediately removed it to send it off for results. I was very scared. Hearing the word cancer hurts. It’s the worst feeling in the world, because in the back of your mind you are thinking death.
Once I had the mole removed and sent off to be biopsied, I was then sent to a specialist in Oklahoma City that dealt with my procedure that needed to be done. The procedure is called the Mohs surgery, where they remove thin layers of cancer-containing skin and examine it until only cancer free tissue remains.
After they had removed all the skin cancer from my nose, I was sent to a reconstructive surgeon for surgery to repair my hole in my nose. The surgeon did a forehead flap where they take a vein that has good blood flow from the top of the head and they attach it to the nose. I wore the flap for four weeks and I then had another surgery to remove the flap from my nose.

Following on from her surgery, Rebekah still has some swelling but she’s sharing her experience to encourage others to use sun protection.
Since her surgery and skin cancer battle, Rebekah takes extra care of her skin, wears sunscreen every day without fail and wears a hat when she’s in the sun. She also makes sure her children are well protected and always have sunscreen in their bags.
She said:
Protect your skin while you have it. Don’t tan in tanning beds or expose your skin to sun exposure without using sunscreen and wearing protection on your head.
I now use Rodan + Fields every day, twice a day. I apply sunscreen in the mornings no matter what. When I go out in the sun, I apply sunscreen all over any skin showing. I also wear a hat when out in the sun.
My bag contains every sunscreen you can imagine from sprays to lotions. I lather my kids in sunscreen because they have a light complexion like myself. Both now carry sunscreens in their sport bags and are very consistent in putting it on.

Now Rebekah is urging everyone to protect their skin so they don’t have to go through a similar experience.
She said:
My first advice to everyone is wear sunscreen. If you can’t find a sunscreen, I can hook you up, but truthfully any sunscreen is better than none.
Also, make it a habit to go to the dermatologist at least once a year. If you have any concerns about any spots on your body, go get it checked out.

Florida Cop Suspended After Arresting Girls Aged 6 And 8 In Two Separate Incidents

Florida Cop Suspended After Arresting Girls Aged 6 And 8 In Two Separate Incidents

Police officer suspended after arresting six and eight year old

CBS News

A Florida police officer has been suspended after arresting a six-year-old and an eight-year-old in two separate incidents on the same day.

The Orlando Police Department began conducting an internal investigation after school resource officer Dennis Turner arrested the two children last week.

Officer Turner found it necessary to handcuff Lucious and Emma Nixon Academy pupil Kaia Rolle, 6, after she kicked a staff member.

The student reportedly has a sleep condition which led to her acting up in class and she lashed out at the staff member as they attempted to hold her wrists and calm her down.

Kaia was arrested and charged with battery before being processed at a juvenile detention centre, though she did return to school the same day.

The six-year-old’s arrest was the second Officer Turner had made that day, though the reason for the eight-year-old’s arrest has not been released.

The Orlando Police Department’s policy requires an officer to get the approval of a watch commander before arresting anyone under the age of 12, however the school resource officer did not follow this procedure.Handcuffs police officer

According to Click Orlando, Orlando Police Chief Orlando Rolon explained the transport officer taking the eight-year-old to the juvenile detention centre ‘was not aware an approval was not obtained’.

He continued:

The 8-year-old was processed through the Juvenile Assessment Center. The child was released to a family member a short time later.

Rolon said Officer Turner’s duties have been suspended pending the outcome of the internal investigation.Florida Grandmother Six-year-old arrest

Speaking of the arrests, Rolon said:

The Orlando Police Department has a policy that addresses the arrest of a minor, and our initial finding shows the policy was not followed.

As a grandparent of three children less than 11 years old, this is very concerning to me. Our department strives to deliver professional and courteous service. My staff and I are committed to exceeding those standards and expectations.

Kaia’s grandmother, Meralyn, expressed outrage at her granddaughter’s arrest, saying ‘no six-year-old child should be able to tell somebody that they had handcuffs on them.’Florida Grandmother Six-year-old arrest

Speaking to Click Orlando, the grandmother said she tried to explain Kaia’s sleep condition to the officer but he was unsympathetic.

She recalled:

She has a medical condition that we are working on getting resolved, and he says, ‘What medical condition?’

‘She has a sleep disorder, sleep apnea,’ and he says, ‘Well, I have sleep apnea, and I don’t behave like that’.

Officer Turner has been assigned to the Reserve Officer Program while the investigation is underway.

Prisoner ‘Confesses’ To ‘Making A Murderer’ Killing

Prisoner ‘Confesses’ To ‘Making A Murderer’ Killing

Netflix
A Wisconsin prisoner has allegedly confessed to the murder of Teresa Halbach, a case made famous through Netflix’s Making A Murderer.
The series details how Manitowoc County resident Steven Avery was accused and ultimately put behind bars for the 2005 murder, though it sheds light on inconsistencies in the investigation to suggest the 57-year-old may have been set up by corrupt law enforcement officers.
Making A Murderer became hugely popular after the first season was released in 2015, followed by season two last year, with many fans convinced Avery was wrongly accused.
Filmmaker Shawn Rech was one of millions to watch the show and in an interview with Newsweek he admitted he felt ‘angry with law enforcement’ and ’embarrassed as an American’ for what happened to Avery.
After conducting his own research into the case he felt he had been misled by the series.Steven Avery
Netflix
In an attempt to tell the ‘whole story’, Rech is creating his own series, titled Convicting A Murderer, which will include parts the Netflix series left out.
The creator claims he got the confession while filming the series, though it did not come from Avery or his nephew Brendan Dassey, who was also convicted for the crime.
Instead, it came from a Wisconsin inmate who has not been named but is said to be a ‘notable convicted murderer’.
Though the legitimacy of the confession has not yet been verified, the filmmaker is passing it on to Wisconsin law enforcement.
He told Newsweek:
We haven’t confirmed the legitimacy of the confession, but seeing as it was given by a notable convicted murderer from Wisconsin, we feel responsible to deliver any and all possible evidence to law enforcement and legal teams.
Having been in production for 20 months, we’ve uncovered an unfathomable amount of information and evidence that is leading us to the truth. Our investigation does not end here.
If the inmate’s confession is found to be reliable it could exonerate Dassey and Avery, both of who have already spent more than a decade behind bars. Avery is serving a life sentence without parole, while Dassey, who is also serving a life sentence, currently will not be eligible for parole until 2048.
Watch the Convicting A Murderer trailer below:
The two men fought their charges; Dassey took his case all the way to the Supreme Court, where his attempt at a new trial was rejected, while Avery continues the appeal process.
Avery’s lawyer, Kathleen Zellner, has spent years recreating parts of the crime scene and collecting evidence in an attempt to prove the wrong person was convicted. Earlier this month, she offered a $100,000 reward for the real killer.
Zellner’s law firm told Heavy they knew of the person who had confessed, stating:
The inmates [sic] name is familiar to us but I do not want to release it yet. We were contacted a week ago by the inmate. He mailed the handwritten confession to us before he contacted the production company.
The confession occurred solely because of our 100k reward offer and had nothing to do with the production company. When we did not immediately respond to this person he called the production company.
Zellner added on Twitter:
We received the handwritten confession on Saturday. It is worthless unless it is corroborated.

Woman Bites Camel’s Testicles At Truck Stop While Trying To Save Dog

Woman Bites Camel’s Testicles At Truck Stop While Trying To Save Dog

It was just another day for Caspar the camel until a woman chomped down on his bollocks.

The bizarre incident occurred on Thursday (September 20) at a Louisiana truck stop about 20 minutes outside Baton Rouge.

While stopped at the roadside attraction, the woman’s husband was throwing treats for their dog under the fence of the camel’s enclosure. As reported by The Advocate, Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office said this led to the pup crawling inside the dromedary’s den.Camel

Panicking as the dog roamed the camel’s enclosure, the couple went in after him. Unfortunately, the woman didn’t get very far – the camel used her as a cushion, sitting down on top of and crushing her.

As the clock ticked, the woman took desperate action: she bit down on the camel’s genitals to get him off her.

Iberville Parish Deputy Louis Hamilton Jr said:

She said: ‘I bit his balls to get him off of me, I bit his testicles to get him off of me.’

A subsequent investigation found the couple had provoked Caspar before he plonked his butt down on the woman.

According to the San Diego Zoo, male dromedaries can weight up to 600kg when fully-grown – so it’s not like a big dog was sitting on the woman.

Deputy Hamilton Jr added:

The camel did nothing wrong. [The couple was] aggressive. The camel was just doing its normal routine.

The camel has never been aggressive, the camel has never gotten out, never caused any issues. In fact, the husband and wife stated before that we’ve been here before and we’ve never had any problems.

Employees at the truck stop did not face charges as a result of the incident, as the attraction was enclosed sufficiently and clearly signposted with warnings to stay out.

However, the unnamed couple were cited with a leash law violation for letting the dog run free on the private property, as well as criminal trespassing.

Deputy Hamilton Jr added:

My only question to her husband was: ‘Why did you throw the doggy treat under the fence?’ And he just said: ‘I wasn’t thinking.’

Pamela Bossier, manager of the truck stop, said the couple should have called for help instead of taking matters into their own hands by crawling under the enclosure’s barbed wire.Camel

Pixabay

Bossier claims the woman’s husband shoved the camel when inside the pen, which inevitably spurred the animal to take some sort of action.

Bossier told The Advocate:

Any animal you provoke, they’re going to strike back. [Caspar] is really a gentle giant.

Biting down on a camel’s balls is strange. But disturbing and provoking an animal due to your own stupidity – that’s nuts.
